Job Description

Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Job Site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work Enviroment: Noisy,Odours,Non-smoking
Work Setting: Restaurant,Urban area

Required Credentials:
-Safe Food Handling certificate

Specialized Skills:
-Cuisine specialties
--Sushi preparation techniques
--Japanese cuisine

Conditions and Psyical Capabilities:
-Attention to detail
-Fast-paced environment

-Standing for extended periods
-Work under pressure

Tasks:
-Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
-Wash
-Use manual and electrical appliances to clean
-Stock refrigerators and salad bars
-Scour pots and pans
-Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
-Package take-out food
-Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces
-Prepare
-Operate dishwashers to wash dishes
-Receive
-Prepare and cook food on a regular basis
-Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
-Place dishes in storage area
